Holly Black is an American writer who became known for her books for young people in the fantasy genre. Her most famous series about “The Folk of Air” was published in 2018.
Holly Black published her first book in 2002 under the title “Modern Faerie Tales”. It enjoyed great popularity and was included in the list of recommended reading for young people by the American Library Association.

In 2003, the author also published the first book in her series, The Spiderwick Chronicles, which has been translated into over 30 languages. In 2008, the film adaptation of Holly Black’s books was launched.
