We Are Legion (We Are Bob) introduces the protagonist Bob Johansson, a software engineer who sells his company and plans to enjoy a luxurious life. However, his plans take a drastic turn when he dies in an accident and wakes up a century later to find his consciousness uploaded into a computer system. He becomes the primary artificial intelligence of an interstellar probe tasked with discovering habitable planets.
