Sue Lynn Tan was born in Malaysia but studied in London and France. She later moved to Hong Kong with her family.
She has loved fairy tales since she was a little girl. Her father gave her her first collection of fairy tales from around the world. Fascinated by the magic in stories, she loved fantasy books and spent much of her childhood in libraries reading all kinds of legends and fairy tales from around the world. When she’s not writing or reading, she loves to explore the hills, lakes and temples around her home.
Sue Lynn Tan is best known for her “Celestial Kingdom” duology. This series includes “Daughter of the Moon Goddess” and “Heart of the Sun Warrior”. The books have won numerous prizes and awards and have been translated into several languages.
