Jessie Inchauspé was born in France in 1992, studied mathematics at King’s College London and biochemistry at Georgetown College in Washington DC and lives in Paris and New York. At the age of 19, a serious accident, which she only just survived, sparked her interest in medicine and nutritional science in particular.

She works at the genetics start-up 23andMe as a product manager. In 2019, she founded the Instagram account @glucosegoddess, where she shares graphs of her own continuous glucose measurements to illustrate the science of nutrition.

In April 2022. Inchauspé publishes her first book, Jessie Inchauspé. Over 1 million copies sold worldwide. It was a bestseller in France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Spain and Germany. It is a Wall Street Journal bestseller in the USA. It has been translated into over 40 languages. In it, Inchauspe explains how important glucose regulation should be for all aspects of our health.

In May 2023, Inchauspe published his second book, The Glucose Goddess Method. It made the New York Times bestseller list.

Her views are criticized by Professor François Jornaivaz, head of department at Geneva College Hospitals: “She hides behind a pseudo-scientific cloak to promote a method that I don’t think works and is based on very little evidence. The scientific studies she cites are highly anecdotal, if not bogus, or not applicable to what she is proposing.”
