Beyond her writing career, Sarah Crouch is also recognized for her achievements in the world of athletics as a professional marathon runner.

Middletide, published in 2024, is her debut novel. The story is set in the small town of Point Orchards on Puget Sound, where the body of Dr. Erin Landry is discovered. The circumstances of her death eerily mirror events in a novel written by Elijah Leith, a failed writer and the son of the town’s prodigal son. As suspicion falls on Elijah, he must fight to prove his innocence against a cunning adversary.

Sarah Crouch was raised in the Pacific Northwest. She now lives in Arkansas with her husband and three children. Before dedicating herself to writing, she worked as a teacher and earned a degree in library science.
